What is an email alias?

An alias is an alternative name assigned to an email address. When a message is sent to the alias, it arrives in your main mailbox.
For example, the email address is ee.ne1751371540emod@1751371540imin1751371540 and the alias assigned to it is ee.ne1751371540emod@1751371540imine1751371540rep.i1751371540minse1751371540e1751371540.
