How to set up e-mail forwarders in cPanel

Last modified: Tuesday November 28th, 2023

This article describes how to configure e-mail forwarders in cPanel. There are two types of e-mail forwarders:

  • Account forwarders: This is the most common type of forwarder. An account forwarder forwards incoming messages for one e-mail account (for example, moc.e1732355376lpmax1732355376e@noi1732355376tamro1732355376fni1732355376) to another e-mail account (for example, moc.e1732355376lpmax1732355376e@kse1732355376dpleh1732355376). Alternatively, you could create multiple forwarders and forward messages from one account to multiple accounts.
  • Domain forwarders: This type of forwarder forwards all incoming messages from one domain to another domain. For example, you could forward all incoming messages for the test.example.com domain to the example.com domain.
